The room had great amenities and was very clean; we especially liked the comfortable beds.

Beautiful terrace, room 401, super location.
terrace overlooks the restaurant's extractor fans so that during meal preparation hours it is unbearable. door to the terrace is badly insulated, smell of coffee and breakfast preparation invades the room from 5:30 am. I haven't been in the evening before 10pm so I don't know if it smells in the afternoon/evening as well. plug in the bathroom is unplugged from the wall and there is no bathtub. I was in that same room 10 years ago and it was unforgettable, unfortunately this time I leave with a bad taste in my mouth and worst thing is that no commercial gesture was proposed (I asked for a check out later included in Genius and they rejected it because they said it was full when it was still available on the web), quite the opposite.... I was reminded politely that this room is a superior one and that normally 18 euros more apply... It's a pity. I don't think I'll come back, for the same price and cheaper this "Las Almenas" just next to a lower category but with similar features.

The room here is modern, well-equipped, and the food is excellent, with very friendly staff that even provide a self-check-in service.

What impressed me most was the really friendly staff. Both the ladies in the reception were great. The young woman in her twenties whose name I didn't catch was especially wonderful, helping me with Alhambra tickets and was always genuinely super positive and charming and friendly :)
The breakfast wasn't very good, we got a better one around the corner in one of the many cafés of the area. It's a shame, cause the gentleman running the hotel café also seemed very nice. Location was good but in retrospect Albaicín was the more interesting area. Also I had to sleep with earplugs one night, but that was probably because of a football result the locals were happy with...

Great hotel - not expensive, modern, clean and comfortable and a good bargain for the price. In particular Ms. Carmen Garcia at the reception desk really helped me out when I couldn't crack the code on how to get tickets to the Alhambra. She took care of it for me in a few minutes after I'd tried unsuccessfully to get the tickets for the better part of 2 days. I hope the hotel will recognize her for that assistance!

A very good hotel in a very convenient location to see the sights of Granada.
Directions to the hotel were of no use due to major road works in the city.

Very friendly, engaging and responsive hotel staff. I had a single room (travelling solo), but it was perfect. A large bathroom too. The location was great, easy to find cafe con leche in the mornings (I opted out of breakfast to eat in local cafes). Wifi was a great bonus. The hotel perfectly mirrored the rest of my Granadan experience.

From the hotel, it is easy to take a walk to the historical attractions of Granada (like cathedral, churches, the Alhambra, Sacramonte and Albaicin). Near to El Corte Ingles shopping mall, other local shops, restaurants and grand avenues. Bus stop to and from airport, and routes to other city points, especially to the University of Granada is just in front of the hotel.
Just the noise of some drunken street passerby and moving vehicles in early morning along the Acera del Dauro Rd
